Moana-Nui-a-Kiwa Fitness Centre

Located in the heart of Mangere at the Moana-Nui-a-Kiwa Leisure Centre, our fitness club features the latest cardio and weights equipment. Our cardio room offers views over the indoor pool and we have a separate area for resistance workouts, along with a boxing area.

Member benefits

The Mangere Community Gym offers general fitness programmes, sports specific training, weight loss programmes, rehabilitation and green prescription, aerobics, aquarobics, free spa and sauna facilities, and free group fitness classes. You’ll also receive five free one-on-one sessions with a fitness professional to keep you on-track to getting the best results.

Group Fitness

Take advantage, and experience the energy of group fitness classes. Soak in the energy and excitement that comes from group workouts. With a variety of classes, which range in intensity, there’s something for everyone. Please note that classes are subject to availability and may be cancelled at short notice. Please check with the centre for latest updates.

Flexi-pay Via direct debit*. Four month minimum term	$14.90/week
Pay in full Twelve month term	$632.20/year

Concessions

15% discount and zero joining fee applies to full time students, seniors (65+ years), disabled, community service card holders and green prescription clients. To be eligible for concessionary rates a valid ID must be produced.

Joining fee

$50 joining fee applies to all memberships (excludes concessions).

Membership cards

Your personal membership card will be provided free of charge when you join. You must bring this with you every time you visit the gym to gain entry. Replacement cards cost $10.

Hours

Monday – Thursday:   6.00am – 9.00pm
Friday:                       6.00am – 7.00pm
Saturday and Sunday: 8.00am – 5.00pm
Public holidays:           9.00am - 5.00pm (excluding Good Friday and Christmas Day)
