Located in Half Moon Bay, Marina Fitness is Manukau Leisure’s only stand-alone fitness club. We offer general fitness programmes, sports specific training, weight loss programmes, rehabilitation, and group fitness classes. And we run short-term challenges periodically to keep our members motivated.

The latest easy-to-use gear.

We bring in the latest equipment from the States and have installed the interactive engage series which allows you to record your cardio workout to your USB, watch Sky TV or engage the services of a virtual trainer. We have a separate circuit for total body cardio and toning and a good selection of resistance machines and free weights.

Run, stretch, kick, dance.

There’s plenty to choose from with access to free group fitness classes in our intimate studio. We’ll also encourage you to join special programmes like our six and eight-week challenges from time to time. Group training, whether its challenges or group fitness, is a great way to make friends and stay inspired.

Custom-built in late 2009, Marina Fitness sits alongside a host of health and wellbeing services in the Compass Building overlooking the marina. Under the same roof you’ll find Marina Medical, Marina Physio, Marina Specialists and Marina Care Chemist as well as Lollipops Childcare.

Ron’s inspirational story.

Age is no barrier to exemplary fitness for Ron Jones. If you walk into Marina Fitness and see him striding along on the treadmill you’d be excused for thinking he’s a fit looking chap without a care in the world. You certainly wouldn’t realise that this is an 84-year-old recovering from a recent broken back and walking on two replaced hips!

We believe in offering the best possible service and helping our members achieve healthier and fitter lifestyles. But we don’t charge the earth.

Direct debit* - 6 months: $25.50 per week
Direct debit* - 12 months: $20.20 per week
Paid in full – 6 months: $663.00
Paid in full – 12 months: $1,050.40
Casual visit: $22.00

Please note that the first two week’s membership fees plus $50 joining fee will be paid at time of joining. Debit Success will deduct $15 administration fee from your first direct debit.

Concessions.

We want to get all members of our community fit and active!

We offer a 10% discount and zero joining fee to full time students, seniors 65+, disabled, and Community Service card holders (you must have valid ID).

Joining Marina Fitness.

A $50 joining fee applies (excludes concessions). If you choose to pay by direct debit you can join online now otherwise head down to the marina and we’ll walk you through the process. You’ll get a personal membership card and must bring it with you every visit to gain entry. Replacement cards cost $10.
