Manurewa Aquatic Centre

Situated in Mountfort Park, this large busy centre has a range of services to keep you and your whanau active an entertained. Facilities include indoor swimming pools, Community Gyms fitness centre, café, and spaces available for hire for your next event.

Take the plunge and discover a new watersport. The Manurewa Aquatic Centre is home to Manukau’s first deep water pool. In addition to the 25-metre six lane lap pool, the facility includes a 25-metre graduated leisure pool, teaching pool, and toddlers’ pool. There’s even a spa and sauna, ideal for relaxing tired muscles.

Learn to swim with our resident swim school, Swimsation. They cater for all levels of swimmers from babies and toddlers, through to squad swimmers and adults.

Please note: Children under 10 years of age must be actively supervised by a caregiver 16 years or over.

Disabled Access

We have steps and a hoist available for disabled access into the lap and leisure pool. A ramp is available for access into the teaching pool. Unfortunately, there is no disabled access into the spa.
Recently, Manurewa Aquatic Centre Ngaa mahi a Rehia applied for the Halberg Trust Sport Access Gold Award. We’re focused on providing a facility that is accessible, with staff that have the necessary knowledge and understanding to assist and serve disabled people.

Fitness centre

At the Manurewa Community Gym we make getting fit and staying fit as easy as possible. With our affordable membership options, you’ll be able to get in shape and have fun doing it. Take advantage of our group fitness classes. »more

Venue hire

Outside of normal operational hours, the pools are available for hire. Our pools are ideal for children’s birthdays, baptisms, watersport events or private events. »more
