Manukau on the Move


Manukau on the Move provides innovative outdoor programmes for all ages. Our regular activities include adventurous outings such as sailing, kayaking, rock climbing and mountain biking.

Manukau on the Move can custom design an outdoor education programme for your group that is tailored to the size of your group and participant ages and abilities. We also deliver popular regular programmes, and offer ‘out of the box’ outdoor persuits for groups, corporates, and schools.

Qualified, knowledgeable staff provide specialist instruction and equipment to ensure you get the most out of your experience. All activities undergo extensive safety management and code of practice audits, and our boats, kayaks, bikes and gear are well maintained and constantly checked.

Due to popular demand we deliver the following programmes on a regular basis. New participants are always welcome!


Womens’ Adventure Group

Women of all ages and backgrounds come together to try a new outdoor adventure each month. This popular and friendly group provides woman with a non-threatening, supportive environment to try something extraordinary. No one’s expected to be an athlete or expert, and absolute beginners are always welcome. All gear and transport is provided. We can pick you up from Beachlands, Whitford or East Tamaki.


Teen Extreme

For one week during each school holidays we run Teen Extreme for 12 to16-year-olds. Challenging activities will push you out of your comfort zone and blow out the cobwebs. Adventures include sea kayaking, climbing and abseiling, mountain biking, and caving.
