The Allan Brewster Recreation Centre is one of Manukau’s biggest recreation complexes. Facilities include a double-court stadium, Community Gyms fitness centre, Kauri Kids childcare, squash courts, and Manukau Leisure’s head office.
Recreation centre
You will find a variety of sports and recreation programmes at the Allan Brewster Recreation Centre. There’s something for everyone with programmes designed for various ages, fitness levels and abilities. When they’re not designing or delivering term-long recreation programmes, our recreation team are providing before out of school care (OSCAR) and school holiday programmes for local families.
Fitness centre
At the Allan Brewster Community Gym we make getting fit and staying fit as easy as possible. With our affordable membership options, you’ll be able to get in shape and have fun doing it. Take advantage of our group fitness classes that take place in our dedicated aerobics room. »more
Kauri Kids Childcare
Papatoetoe Kauri Kids offers quality, affordable care with a focus on learning through fun. Our centre provides a nurturing, stimulating and secure environment where children feel comfortable and will grow, learn and play. »more
Venue hire
Allan Brewster Recreation Centre has a number of spaces available to hire for your next event. You can hire a room that holds 50 people or our stadium for 1000. Our centre is ideal for hosting sporting events, public meeting, private functions or wedding receptions. »more

Monday – Friday: 7.00am – 9.30pm
Saturday – Sunday: 8.00am – 1.00pm (Excludes fitness and childcare)
